Terry Stolz is a contemporary painter working in mixed media. His work centers on familiar objects—often isolated and restructured through scale, surface, and material.

Built through layers of collage, abrasion, and oil paint, the paintings hold a visible history. Marks, textures, and buried color remain active in the surface, creating a tension between control and disruption.

By reducing imagery to essential forms, Stolz shifts attention to presence and perception—where surface, light, and structure carry the emotional weight of the work.
